Hello everyone, we are excited & looking forward to seeing everyone at this year's instructor certification camp. I have spoken with many of you and it sounds like we'll have a strong group as always.

In addition to examining our core curriculum, we want to help in any way we can to make you a better instructor.

Everyone will be responsible for teaching a 5 minute segment demonstrating level appropriate curriculum and teaching skills/Class management skills.

You will be tested over the memory and proper execution of all color belt forms.

I know all of you will do great and we will have a region full of instructors with a new collar for the fall season! Call ATA HQ to register.

GREAT TOURNAMENT!

Thanks to all instructors and students who came to Springfield and participated in this event. We had the largest turnout ever in Springfield and were happy to serve so many. Special thanks to the seniors of the region for their support and we hope to see all of you again at the next regional tournament in Kansas City, November 13-14, 2009.
We also raised $421 for the HU Lee Foundation over the weekend at the HULF booth. THANKS!

Day 2 of competition will begin here in a few hours. Great action last night with 4th and 5th Degree Black Belts along with Creative and Xtreme events. Thanks to everyone that put on such a good show. Look in a day or so for a link to some photos from the weekend taken by me.

Also, we've got some action photographers covering the event and they will be handing out cards for you to access their work online with option to purchase those images.
